Located three kilometers outside of Sankt Stefan im Walde in Upper Austria’s Mühlviertel region, Hotel Aviva is the first singles hotel in Europe. In the modern four-star superior resort, singles, solo travelers and friends stay in spacious rooms with a south-facing balcony, room bar and relaxation lounger. WLAN is available free of charge.
The 2,000 square meter wellness area offers space for a pool, sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin. In the outdoor area there is a natural swimming pond and a whirlpool that is heated all year round. It is possible to book massages and beauty treatments or work out in the modern fitness room in front of floor-to-ceiling windows on strength and endurance equipment. Tennis courts are also available.
In the restaurant, hotel guests start the day with an extensive breakfast buffet and later enjoy Austrian and international specialties. In the evening, guests can meet up in the bar, the vinotheque or the hotel’s own nightclub.
In summer, the surrounding Bohemian Forest is best explored on hikes and mountain bike tours. In winter, active vacationers strap on their cross-country skis or snowshoes.
