Menschels Vitalresort is located just outside Meddersheim in the green Nahe valley in Rhineland-Palatinate. The third-generation family-run organic and health hotel is surrounded by a large park with mature trees.
The main building of the winner of the Green Spa Award was built in the English country house style. The modern and stylishly furnished rooms offer a view of the garden or the Igelsberg and some have a balcony or loggia.
In the organic-certified kitchen, regional and seasonal ingredients play the main role in the preparation of the predominantly vegetarian and vegan dishes.
The 1,300 square meter spa area includes an indoor pool, a whirlpool and a sound bath. There are several saunas to choose from and a 17 x 6 meter natural swimming pool in the outdoor area. The hotel offers various Asian wellness treatments, Felke therapy with natural clay treatments and therapeutic fasting according to Buchinger. Cardio equipment is available in the fitness room.
Active holidaymakers enjoy cycling tours on the 120-kilometre Nahe cycle path, which runs right past the hotel. Hikes through the vineyards are just as popular.
The many attractive excursion destinations in the surrounding area include Bad Kreuznach, 25 kilometers away, the Disiodenberg monastery ruins, where Hildegard von Bingen worked, and the gemstone town of Idar-Oberstein.
