The owner-managed Familotel Mein Krug in Warmensteinach in the Fichtelgebirge offers free childcare and a wide range of options for varied leisure activities.
The rooms and apartments of various sizes are modernly furnished and equipped with satellite TV, radio, fridge and a first aid kit. A bathing bag is available for guests on arrival. Many rooms have their own balcony. So that families can travel light, the hotel provides all children’s equipment including baby monitors, high chairs and back carriers free of charge.
The restaurant menu features German and regional cuisine. The kitchen team has created a selection of special dishes for vegan guests.
The 330 square meter swimming pool area invites you to romp and relax. There is a 35 degree children’s pool and a nine by eleven meter indoor pool with an integrated whirlpool, massage jets and counter-current system. A sauna and a Roman steam bath invite you to relax. Cosmetic treatments, Ayurveda treatments and massages are also on offer.
There is a playroom and several playgrounds for younger guests. Riding lessons take place outdoors or in the hotel’s own riding hall, depending on the weather. The Familotel offers group activities such as games evenings, e-bike tours and buggy excursions.
For adults, the program includes Nordic walking tours and herb hikes. In winter, the hotel is just three kilometres from the Hempelsberg and Geiersberg ski lifts.
